Last month, I had the privilege of working on a unique permanent installation for a law practice in Durbanville. The project was a perfect example of how SilkBlume combines beauty and functionality. Tasked with hiding aircon units, a cupboard was designed and built around the units with a planter box sunk into the cupboard on each side of the aircon. We created a design for the two planter boxes filled with a mix of lifelike artificial plants. The centerpiece was a striking, gnarled piece of wood that brought a natural, organic element to the space. The result was a harmonious display that not only solved a practical problem but also added a touch of elegance to the office.
